An enthusiastic Kisii woman rose to express her gratitude when President William Ruto awarded them (the women’s group) Kshs 5 million, briefly interrupting the president’s speech.
In a South Mugirango Constituency incident, the head of state can be seen interrupting her remarks after a woman who has not been named can be heard saying, “Ata Kwa mama Kazi Ni Kazi.”
In the video, Ruto can also be seen grinning before proceeding to tell the residents that he won’t treat them differently because they supported the leader of the opposition, Hon.
