Police In Kirinyaga are investigating an incident where a man is said to have taken his own life by ingesting poison in an incident that has caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to express their concern over the increasing number of Kenyans who are taking their own lives in the country.
In a report that has been shared by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that the deceased, a 35-year-old man who was the chairman of the Boda-boda association of Mwea is said to have Killed himself inside his house.
Several sources have confirmed that the deceased who ingested pesticides later slit his throat after which he passed away, he was later found dead in the room where the incident occured.
While reacting to this incident, Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on suicide in the country have sent their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased stating that it is so unfortunate that the deceased passed away at such a young age of 35.
According to the reports given by most Kenyans, something should be done about the increasing number of Kenyans who are taking their own lives in the country.
In other news, former prime minister of Kenya who is also the Presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, Honorable Raila Odinga has called upon the government under President William Ruto to address the issue of murder and suicide in Kenya.
