On the first year of her late husband Kelvin Kiptum’s passing, Asenath Rotich wrote a heartfelt note.
Following Samson Cheruiyot’s statement about her leaving the marital home, Kiptum’s widow, Asenath Rotich, finally addressed the public.
She remains sad and holds dear the memories they lived together while proclaiming that life truly mattered when he made her days more joyful.
She explained how she found the world completely without meaning when her children’s father disappeared.
Asenath discovered contentment because Kiptum now experienced peace in heaven.
As his time in heaven approached, Asenath made a promise to meet Kiptum at the gates of heaven.
“#My late husband in heaven, it Mark exactly a year since you grew wings my heart is full of memories, and you are with me every day you lived your life with meaning and with a smile upon your face, a world that was full of happiness is now an empty place, people say that only time will heal a broken heart, but just like me and you it has been torn apart I know you are at peace now and in a place where you are free. Meet me at the pearly gates when heaven calls for me. No one knows how much I miss you, love,” she wrote.
During a private interview with TUKO.co.ke, Mzee Cheruiyot discussed not receiving his son’s money following his daughter’s interview.
He blamed the agent Mark Corstjens from Golazo, who manages his son’s career, for not releasing Kiptum’s monetary funds.
The manager refuted all allegations, which he claimed redirected funding to support Kiptum’s parents through the foundation.
