Kenyans have continued to condolences with the family of the late marathon world record holder Kelvin Kiptum who died in a car crash recently. But there have been many contraversions and suspicions to do with the incident. The family of Kiptum revealed that Kiptum was the only child of in the family and that they had lost their only hope. In addition to that, they requested the government to help them in this difficult times.
Now Kipchoge who is also a world record holder has taken a heartfelt step to honour the death of Kelvin Kiptum in a special way. Kipchoge has decided to install electricity in Kiptum’s village that will help not only the family but also the people living in his area. This is quite commendable but the question is, why do people get honoured only when they are dead and not when they are still alive. Anyway may the souls of Kiptum and his coach continue resting in eternal peace.
