Some Cabinet Secretaries were shut out of State House on Tuesday and did not sign their performance contracts, one of whom was in charge of a crucial and strategic docket.

A few Principal Secretaries who were also late for the event, which was presided over by President William Ruto, were also excluded from it.

The ceremony was scheduled to start at 8 a.m., according to an official schedule distributed by State House Press Secretary Emmanuel Talam.

This meant that all of the CSs and their PS needed to be seated prior to the event’s scheduled start time.

Interior CS Kithure Kindiki and his Trade and Industry counterpart Moses Kuria were two people who did not sign the contracts.
