The incumbent Second in Command Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has stepped up to his new big role and embarked on fitting to the shoes to serve his boss the incumbent Head of State President William Ruto and the Kenyan electorate effectively.

Taking to his social media pages, Kindiki has shared photos of his warm reception after landing in Botswana. Here is what he wrote following a successful trip to the South African country:

“Arrived at the Sir Sereste Khama International Airport, Gaborone, Botswana, to represent President William Samoei Ruto in the swearing in and inauguration ceremony of Duma Gideon Boko as the 6th President of the Republic of Botswana.”

Kindiki’s cordial relationship with his boss President William Ruto has left many Kenyans tongue wagging especially since the recent high political temperatures between Ruto and his estranged former Deputy Rigathi Gachagua that led to the ouster of the self declared Mt Kenya kingpin from office.

Kenyans were also keen to notice that Kindiki used the Harambee One, Kenya Airforce jet designed to ferry the presidency to various international duties across the world.
