Kenya’s Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has today broken silence with a powerful message targeting all Kenyan citizens inhabiting varied local and regional destinations.
Addressing via a statement dated today the 20th day of October 2023, the Head of State His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto has divulged that all Kenyan citizens enrolled as Community Health Promoters will be paid Ksh2,500 every month by the national government.
The Head of State Dr William Samoei Ruto divulged that his administration has set aside KSh3 Billion per annum (which translates to Ksh250 Million per month) to cater for the payment of the 100,000 Kenyan citizens chosen to serve as community Health Promoters.
The Head of State further directed all county Government to set aside additional KSh3 Billion per annum to cater for the monthly payment of the Community Health Promoters
The President remarks essentially mean that Community Health Promoters will be paid Ksh2,500 every month by National Govt and another Ksh2,500 each month by the county Government, totalling to Ksh5,000 monthly salary.
