In a video shared by X user Moseax, the lady dressed in a white-striped short dress seemed to be arguing with a man she later identified as her husband.
Man lectured for slapping wife.
The man then struck her before the two started holding each other up in arms before the man pushed the lady.
However, the man who recorded the video intervened and cautioned the man against slapping a woman in his presence.
While explaining what led to the violent misunderstanding, the lady revealed the man felt bad because she paid the bill for his friend whom she had invited to party with them.
“I just said I am going to pay the bill because I am the one who told them we should come here. He got angry that I am paying all the bills including his friends. And I told him no, I am the one who brought him. This man, I have fed him for five years, while he was jobless. Then he is beating because he has a job. Let him give me my things so that I go,” she said.
The man then tried to defend himself saying he did not know his wife was coming as the friend called him to come over.
The video sparked a backlash on social media, with Kenyans berating the man for laying his hands on his lover.
