Details have emerged, of an image that shows a journalist helping a female police officer, with toothpaste, moments before she was shot on her thigh. It is also worth noting that the journalist, was in her work, covering the anti government protests, that were going on in Nakuru county, on that fateful day.According to reports, posted on the official Facebook page of Tuko.co.ke, Wanjeri, who is a journalist, of a top media station, was shot with at least three bullets on her thigh, moments after giving a police officer, toothpaste to apply om her cheeks to avoid irritation from tear gas.
Kenyans and online viewers, went into the comments section, to express their mixed reactions, where some blamed the police officers, for shooting the journalist, while others, wished quick recovery to the journalist.
