In a sad turn of events, a person who alleged to have been Tom Mboya’s son was found dead in the states days he was captured on camera begging for help.
In the video that has since gone viral the young man who alleged to be the son Kenya’s first Secretary general, Tom Joseph Odhiambo Mboya. According to the viral video George Gerry Mboya claimed that the pan- africanist fathered him before he was assassinated in 1969.
Well a recent publication by Tuko News has shroudedmore mystery on the case of Gerry as it was reported the said person was found dead a few weeks back. Prior to his death Gerry who was ailing had been rendered homeless after he spent most of his life’s savings Overland Park Regional Medical Center, where he was seeking treatment after his Liver failed.
Well deeper investigation were able to reveal that Gerry was not actually Tom Mboya’s son despite being a Kenyan. Gerry had his own family which plan to bury him ina private function as soon as his ashes land home. ( He was cremated in the US earlier this week.) Further details also revealed that indeed Gerry was suffering from depression and he may have died as a result of suicide.
Well Kenyans in the comment section disbelief at the expressed their disbelief over the sudden demise of Gerry. A section of Kenyans were also surprised by the fact that Gerry actually had a family. They went as far as to question where the family was when Gerry was begging for help.
