Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday toured Narok County where he presided over the closing ceremony of the Maa Cultural Festival that took place in Sekenani Gate in Masaai Mara.

While taking to his social media platforms, the Deputy President left Kenyans talking after posting photos of himself wearing Maasai clothes. The second in command posted several photos that left social media platforms excited.

The majority of Kenyans who reacted to the photos commended the deputy president for blending in with the Maasai culture. Others said that they are proud of the deputy president.

Rigathi Gachagua also participated in the Maa challenge that was started by President William Samoei Ruto whereby he stood with his one leg while posing for a photo.

The Deputy President was also joined by a section of his allies from the Kenya Kwanza Alliance including United Democratic Alliance party Secretary General Hon Cleophas Malalah among other leaders.

In his statement, DP Gachagua said that the Maa community culture remains distinct and impressive. He thanked the community for organizing such an event saying that it makes the country proud and unique in the global arena.
