Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday went back to his former High School, Kianyaga Boys High School in Kirinyaga County where he led a fundraiser for the renovation of the school.
The deputy president donatef KSh3million which is to be channelled to the project that will require millions. At the same time the deputy President who stood in for his boss President William Ruto, handed over another KSh5million which the head of state had sent.
According to the source, the ministry of Education gave KSh50million towards the project.
During his tour of his former school, the deputy president got an opportunity to tour his former Dormitory years later.
