Following the recent demonstrations in Kenya, where it was alleged that 60 people were slain, activist Kasmuel McOure has made a number of demanding statements. McOure is requesting that the Office of the President provide an extensive report on the current state of the enquiries into these fatalities. Additionally, he calls on the government to release precise numbers and details of the victims, including where they lived.

Furthermore, McOure demands that the President issue directives to autonomous agencies like the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to initiate investigations. He underlines how important it is that the DCI and police look into and deal with any proof of police wrongdoing that members of Generation Z have uploaded online.

In addition, McOure holds OCS and police chiefs responsible for the conduct of their officers in the locations where the deaths took place and requests their resignation. Finally, he demands that the Office of the President send out a strong warning to all police officers about how they should conduct themselves. This initiative suggests that Gen Z could now have a communication or leadership wing working to advocate for them. This was the Kenyan response;
