A mysterious sighting of a Prado TXL without a number plate has sparked a debate and concern among Kenyans after it was shared by Kileleshwa MCA, Robert Alai, on social media.

The photo, which quickly went viral, has ignited discussions about the implications of such vehicles operating unidentified on Kenyan roads.

Alai, known for his outspoken nature and blogger who thrived on controversial posts, insinuated a dissatisfaction over the vehicle.

He suggested that high-ranking politicians or government officials might be flouting regulations by using government vehicles while removing their number plates.

The post triggered a wave of reactions from Kenyans, with some echoing Alai’s concerns about the potential abuse of power and privilege by those in authority. However, others pointed out a time during Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime, reminding Alai that the police often used unmarked vehicles to intimidate politicians, particularly during the period of the handshake.

Conversely, a section of Kenyans said there was no wrong for such a vehicle to be on the road. Others said it could be a new vehicle being taken to the owner. Some hinted that the vehicle could belong to a certain politician traveling home.
