A mysterious case involving a Kenyan woman who went missing in Saudi Arabia has left her family and well-wishers in shock and confusion.
Judy Njeri Mwaura, a Kenyan woman working in Saudi Arabia, was reported missing on Friday, December 13, 2024, prompting immediate concern from her family back home.
What followed was a puzzling turn of events that has left everyone wondering about her current condition and whereabouts.
According to reports from her family, a good Samaritan discovered Judy lying helplessly by the roadside, unable to speak. Her personal belongings, including her bags, were found beside her, further deepening the mystery.
The Samaritan, who had found Judy, immediately reached out to her family in Kenya, informing them of the distressing situation. The shocking news quickly spread across social media, sparking an outpouring of support from netizens and sympathizers.
The last communication her family had with Judy was just a day before her discovery. According to a post shared by philanthropist Mercy Nungari on Facebook, Judy had sounded happy and content when she spoke to her family the previous day, leaving everyone confused about what could have happened in the short span of 24 hours.
“It is devastating for the family to learn that she was found like this after they had spoken to her and she seemed perfectly fine,” Nungari shared.
Judy’s sudden disappearance and her mysterious state have left her parents in a state of distress, as they try to piece together what led to the incident.
Reports indicate that after being discovered, Judy was taken to the Sakan deportation center in Saudi Arabia. However, her whereabouts have since become unclear, with authorities reportedly moving her to another location.
This has further fueled concerns about her safety and well-being. Her family has now urgently reached out to the Kenyan embassy in Saudi Arabia, seeking assistance in locating her and bringing her back home safely.
The case has drawn attention to the risks that many Kenyan nationals face while working abroad. A growing number of Kenyans in the Gulf countries have faced mistreatment, exploitation, and even life-threatening situations.
