On Friday, September 29, the netizen shared a post in the Home Beautiful Facebook group narrating their issue with the preacher.
The Facebook user disclosed that they had built a house worth KSh 3.5 million and requested for the pastor to pray before they moved in.
However, the pastor set conditions to pray for the building.
âMy pastor told me to give him 50 % of the money I spend on that house for him to pray! â
My question is, does a pastor need the percentage amount to pray for your house?â
The confused netizen asked if they could look for another preacher while admitting that the impasse frustrated them.
They then accused their pastor of being jealous.
âOn Sunday, the preaching was all about people building huge houses, buying cars, and yet we canât build big houses and buy a vehicle for him.â
The Facebook user disclosed that they built the house using a loan, but the preacher did not want to understand.
âKindly advise me what to do.â
Here is what Kenyans had to say:
Kemu Glow:
âSo, whatâs the difference between your prayers and a pastorâs prayers?â
Julie Jemutai Cheruiyot:
âJust pray for your own house.â
Aloysius Louis Aloys Njugun:
âIn today’s episode of totally avoidable problems.â
Nyangi Mutter Paprito
This kind of thing made me stop going to church. Brainwashing,.â
Beatrice Chireri:
âGod just revealed the kind of man he is and you are still here asking questions. Murife run.â
