Nairobi, Kenya – Chaos erupted in the Kenyan Parliament today as opposition lawmakers clashed with members of the ruling Jubilee Party over the recent expulsion of President Uhuru Kenyatta from the party.

The heated debate began when opposition MPs accused Jubilee of violating the law by kicking out the Kenyan leader, who is also the party’s leader. They argued that the move was unconstitutional and aimed at weakening Kenyatta’s authority.

Jubilee lawmakers defended the decision, saying that Kenyatta had violated the party’s code of conduct by openly supporting opposition candidates in recent by-elections. They also accused him of failing to uphold the party’s principles and failing to unite its members.

Tempers flared as the debate intensified, with MPs from both sides exchanging insults and shoving each other. Security personnel were forced to intervene to maintain order.

The opposition MPs finally walked out of Parliament in protest, vowing to challenge the expulsion in court.

The decision to kick out Kenyatta has caused a rift within the ruling Jubilee Party, with some members calling for an urgent meeting to resolve the issue and restore unity. Others, however, have praised the move as a necessary step to restore discipline within the party.

The expulsion of Kenyatta has also reignited speculation about his political future, with some analysts suggesting that he may now form a new political alliance with opposition leaders or even run for re-election as an independent candidate.

The situation remains tense, with fears of further political unrest and division within the nation.
