Kenyan musician Bien-Aimé Baraza, popularly known as Bien, made headlines with a heartfelt statement about his love for women with big foreheads.
The former Sauti Sol member shared his admiration during an interview, saying, “I love our women with foreheads! I can never be with a woman who has no forehead. Have you seen my wife?”
He explained that he finds women with prominent foreheads beautiful and believes they are intelligent, pointing to the forehead as a sign of a “big brain.”
His comments sparked conversations across social media, with many praising his confidence and love for his wife, Chiki Kuruka.
Bien, a celebrated Afropop artist, has been married to Chiki Kuruka, a Nigerian-Kenyan fitness coach and choreographer, since March 2020.
The couple’s relationship is admired for its openness and mutual support.
They often share glimpses of their life together on social media, from romantic moments to their shared passion for social causes.
In January 2024, Bien joined Chiki and thousands of Kenyans in Nairobi for an anti-femicide march, showing his commitment to gender equality and women’s rights.
His presence at the protest earned him praise as a “mwanaume kamili” from fans.
The couple’s bond is rooted in shared values and creativity. Chiki, a dancer and entrepreneur, runs a fitness brand and supports Bien’s music career.
Bien, who released his solo EP Bald Men Love Better in 2021 and was named Kenya’s most streamed artist on Spotify in 2024, often credits Chiki for inspiring him.
