Kenyan actress Wanjiku Mburu, known for her role as ‘Mama Baha’ on the popular TV show ‘Machachari’, is once again asking the government to help her find her brother, George, who disappeared ten years ago in Somalia.

George, who was an engineer, went missing in January 2014 while working in Mogadishu. He was abducted, and his family has not heard from him since. Wanjiku and her family have spent the last decade searching for answers, but there has been no official communication from George or those responsible.

In 2017, Wanjiku wrote a letter to then-President Uhuru Kenyatta, pleading for assistance. She described the pain her family felt and the lack of help they had received. She also shared her frustration over meetings with officials who made promises but never took action. Despite her efforts, there was no progress in finding George, and the family remained in despair.

Now, in October 2024, Wanjiku has shared a new update in her brother’s case through a video on TikTok. In the video, she reveals that she recently received a call from a Somali phone number. To her shock, the man on the other end claimed to be her missing brother George.

Wanjiku says she was both surprised and emotional as George described the horrible conditions he had been living in for the past ten years. According to George, he had been kept in a small, confined space and was often handcuffed
