For the past two weeks, a lorry carrying unusual heavy load has gotten the attention of most Kenyans on social media after it started its journey in Mombasa two weeks ago.
The truck, with a huge load, has been the talk of the town, with Kenyans following closely on every step it made since it left the port. The reason has been that the truck is escorted by a fleet of vehicles including Kenya power personnel.

The KPLC personnel had been on the truck’s radar, making sure it assisted it pass under low-hanging power lines across the major highway. Though it hasn’t been clear on what the truck is carrying and its destination, from the look of things, it seems the heavy load is a big boat on transit to the neighbouring country Uganda
“Thumbs up to our operations teams for moving swiftly to ensure there was sufficient clearance of power lines to allow for the smooth passage of an abnormal load haulage. This was today at the Masaita area near Timboroa along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway” read a post from KPLC
The truck is currently in Timboroa, making its way to Eldoret town.
