The acronym KDF usually stands for Kenya Defence Forces. They are the last line of defense for security protection in Kenya. The primary duty of the Kenya Defence Forces soldiers is to protect the country against external attacks.

5. Lieutenant General.

6. Chief Of Defense Forces.
It is the highest rank. He makes monthly salary of KES 1.12 million.
