Police officers in Nairobi have this evening arrested a suspected thief. This is after the man opted to take cover under a bus to escape the wrath of angry city residents in downtown Nairobi.

This is the first thug to be arrested in just few days after the government through the ministry of security launched a crackdown to ‘fish’ out criminals from the city.

Last week after taking the oath of office, the inspector general of police Japhet Koome order police to shot and kill any thug who defy the orders. He also met with Nairobi governor hon Johnson sakaja where they banned Hawking and street families from living under the footbridges

Also today the inspector general of police promoted Adamson Bungei to Nairobi’s new crime buster.

This news comes when cases of people being killed and robbed on daylight had increased in the city.
