According to Kate Actress, she has not moved on to a new relationship that fast because unbeknownst to many netizens, this affair did not start recently.
She infact said that she has been dating Michael Mwangi for awhile now, and even admitted that those in her circle knew about the affair long time ago.

The move by Kate Actress to admit that she has been dating Michael Mwangi for awhile just confirms what some sources had alleged before.
According to reports, the actress was even in a relationship with the businessman before she and ex-hubby Phil Director announced their split in September.
In June 2023, Kate Actress and Michael Mwangi were even on a vacation together in Lamu, where she was attending the launch of Infinix.
In November 2023 the lovebirds even attended SolFest together and were also at the Wash Wash season 4 premiere.
This however is not surprise because when Kate Actress and Phil Director announced their split after being together for five years, they confirmed that they had separated awhile ago nut had just not yet announced it publicly.
