Kamba Benga musician Stephen Kasolo in a wave of relief for fans and followers, has publicly refuted claims circulating on social media about the alleged death of gospel musician Bony Mwaitege.

The rumors suggested that Mwaitege had passed away following a ghastly road accident that is alleged to have happen in the morning of 22 July 2024, living his fans still in shock.

In his post via his facebook page, Kasolo assured his followers that he had personally spoken to Mwaitege and confirmed that the gospel artist was in good health. Kasolo took to his Facebook page to address the issue directly stating that people should stop spreading rumour.

“Gospel Artist Bony Mwaitege is alive and well. Stop spreading false information. People are so hearless when Mwaitege releases a song you dont post him but now everyone is posting nonsense” kasolo stated.

The alleged reports of the 42 year old “Mke mwema” hit maker’s death had spread rapidly, causing concern and confusion among fans and the gospel music community.
