Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has waded into the ongoing controversy involving Bishop Kiengei and social media personality Pritty Vishy. Through her official Facebook page, Nyamu addressed the situation, explaining her stance on the matter and why she will not defend Vishy.
She reflected on her own experiences with online criticism, she said all sorts of things have been said against her since he entered into game in 201. She said when the criticism is based on facts, she works on improving herself.
Nyamu recalled the times of rejecting the finance bill, she said when she commented about it before reading it, she had to familiarize herself further and even became a consultant.
Nyamu noted that she was made aware of the ongoing dispute between Pritty Vishy and Bishop Kiengei through a comment on her Facebook page, urging her to support the young woman. However, she expressed her reluctance to get involved, citing a previous encounter with Vishy.
Addressing the current controversy, Nyamu acknowledged that Vishy is upset over remarks made by Bishop Kiengei, but urged her to take the criticism in stride.

Nyamu also mentioned that Bishop Kiengei had apologized for his comments, suggesting there was no need to dwell further on the issue. She concluded by noting that, despite her past experience with Vishy, she harbors no ill will.
