Sabina Chege and Kanini Kega are both vocal Kenyan politicians from the vote rich Mt Kenya region. While Hon Kanini Kega is a member of the East Africa Legislative Assembly which is based in Arusha Tanzania, Hon Sabina Chege is a nominated member of Parliament in Kenya. The two have been fighting hard to ensure that they take over the reigns of the Jubilee Party from the retired incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta and Secretary General Hon Jeremiah Kioni.
But things are not working good for them. Hon Sabina Chege has finally lost her position as deputy minority whip in the National Assembly after the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Movement decided to replace her with Embakasi West MP Mark Mwenje. Hon Kanini Kega has reacted as he sent a stern warning to the vote rich Mt Kenya region. According to his post, Hon Kanini Kega said that the region only unites when there is an existential threat otherwise they are busy pulling each other down.
