Of late there has been discussions on the need to re-introduce canning in schools amid incidences of unrest among students.
Education CS George Magoha has gone ahead to call for a sober debate on the reintroduction of caning.
Discussing the whole issue this morning, Jalang’o thinks that this should not even be a debate and that parents and teachers should be allowed to cane indisciplined children.
He says, ever since canning was banned children now think they can do anything and get away with them.
Kamene on the other side thanks absent parents are to blame for the increased cases of indiscipline.
