While a church is a centre of hope and restoration, PCEA Elim church experienced an unexpected distraught and mayhem during the normal church activity yesterday.According to the report aired by Inooro Tv, the church experienced division of the congregants where some rose against their Reverend, Carol Nyaga and locked the church. Further report indicate that Carol was expected to preside over a Holy Communion event prior to the unexpected reactions.
Digging into the root cause of the rebellion, the reverend simply denied the former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka and other political leaders from politicking at the altar some few weeks ago. The elders of Elim PCEA claimed that they had spent a lot of time to organize and invite the leaders to help them build the church’s vestry.
The church members who are against Agness claimed that the reverend must go and sworn to fail to run the usual program of the church. At the same time, the secretary of the Parish claimed that the organization group that determines the authenticity of leaders claimed that they have no ill report that indicate that Reverend Agnes should be demoted or transferred.He argued that 11 out of the 12 churches have no problem with the reverend.
