Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has left Kenyans talking after alleging the police had received orders from government machinations to shoot Azimio One Kenya Coalition leaders.

Speaking on Tuesday, August 15 in Ukambani, Kalonzo revealed that Raila Odinga and team had received intelligence regarding the government plans on frustrating anti-Ruto protests.Kalonzo who was accompanied with other Azimio principals among them Raila, Eugene Wamalwa and George Wajackoya told the members of public that the police were directed to aim and shoot Azimio principals on their legs.

Azimio leaders went to condole with the families of Kenyans who reportedly became the victims of police brutality during anti-government protests. Raila had called supporters to take to the streets to oppose Ruto’s regime but the government heightened surveillance and deployed every mean to overwhelm the demonstrators.A fierce exchange between the police and Kenyans left tens of people death, properties destroyed and dozens injured. The issue of police brutality has since been one of the key issues making Azimio agendas and Kalonzo has since asked the International Court of Justice to step in and persecute the Inspector General of the police Japhet Koome over brutality.Kalonzo’s pronouncement contradicts with Raila’s earlier announcement as to why Azimio leaders gave the last wave of anti-Ruto demos a wild berth.

Addressing the press after failing to show up in the 3-day protests, Raila told supporters that he had contacted a flu that slowed him down. The veteran politician has threatened to reactivate the protests should the scheduled bipartisan talks fail to yield fruits.
