Former vice-president Kalonzo Musyoka is one of the top leaders who graced this year’s conference in Homa Bay.

However speaking as relayed by Azimio TV, the Wiper party leader noted that Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition will continue opposing Ruto’s punitive policies and tax proposals even if Mr Odinga can’t talk about it.

According to Kalonzo Musyoka, Mr Odinga is allowed to engage with the government in line his AU bid and therefore they wouldn’t want to create enmity when he’s seeking support from the state for the position.

He called on leaders to lobby support for Mr Odinga saying East Africa Community should this time round win the seat after failing the previous election.

” I’m saying unapologetic housing levy. We will fight it. I can see my brother won’t be allowed to talk that language but we will talk it. We don’t want our brother to come down. That is a joke. Raila needs Prayers”, he said jokingly leaving the crowd laughing.

His statement comes off in line with President William Ruto’s meeting in Uganda where they met Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni days ago.

Present were former prime minister Raila Odinga who doubles as Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s chief, Homa Bay governor Gladys Wanga, DAP Kenya party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Former Murang’a governor Mwangi Wa Iria and many others.
