Former Kiambu County Governor William Kabogo has recalled how former President Uhuru Kenyatta betrayed him as he leaks how when he was angry ,he confronted the then Deputy President William Ruto and what Ruto told him.
Speaking today at Spice FM, Kabogo has recalled how he thought he was ex President Uhuru Kenyatta’s friend until he was betrayed by the then President.
He has recalled how in 2013 eventhough he was the Jubilee party candidate for Kiambu gurbenatorial position, party candidate Nyoro had put a billboard of him with Uhuru Kenyatta eventhough Uhuru was the party leader of Jubilee. He was forced to take them to court for flaunting electoral regulations. He says he was shocked when Uhuru’s lawyer appeared to defend Nyoro.
He then went ahead to confront the then deputy William Ruto who told him he knew where his problems were coming from and that he should leave him out of the situation.
‘I can feel you but am telling you deep down you know where your problems are coming from. I just want you to leave me alone on this matter but I know deep down you know.” Ruto is reported to have told Kabogo.
