Today, Narc-Kenya’s party leader and senior counsel Hon Martha Karua has suffered a major blow on her part as former Mukurweini MP Hon Kabando wa Kabando tabled his resignation letter to the Office of Registrar of Political Parties Kenya.
Kabando who vied for the Nyeri Senetorial position under Narc-Kenya party, said in his resignation letter that he couldn’t stomach what the party and his party leader stood for anymore. Kabando further said that his thoughts on the fight for democracy and that of his party leader weren’t aligned.
” As a matter of conscience and principle, I have instructed @ORPPKenya to deregister I Hon Kabando wa Kabando from @narckenya. I believe in leadership teamwork and honesty. I detest chicanery and corruption. I thank @MarthaKarua and wish her well in Azimio ventures. My family, confidant, allies, friends and colleagues know of my tenacious support and trust in @MarthaKarua to compliment @RailaOdinga in our elusive quest rekindle a national rainbow to crash graft and impunity. I regret we’ve lost it. Hopefully, we’ll reconnect better soon. I’ll continue to bodly and independently, or in league with like minded souls, play my patriotic part to keep President Ruto’s rogue regime in check. Sadly, neither ODM nor NarcK are acting institutionally in this endeavor. Cultistic politics is bad for democracy “. Kabando wrote.
