As reported, the international coach has resigned after he was failed to be paid his arrears.

This comes amid Harambee stars failure to secure a spot in Afcon which is expected to take place in 2027.

On the other side, the former prime minister Raila Odinga has positioned himself as a perfect individual to succeed Moussa Faki as AU chairperson, a position he’s being backed by President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.

Also, he had received backing from Uganda’s president Yoweri Museveni, Tanzania’s president Samia Suluhu, DRC president Tshisekedi, Rwanda president Paul Kagame among others.

It should be noted that Mr Odinga will take part in the televised debate for African Union commission position this week alongside two other candidates for the continental position.
