The government of the republic of Kenyan through the spokesperson Mr Isaac Mwaura has broken silence amid the unrest in the country that has been caused by anti government demos that is currently going on in different parts of the country.

According to the report, the government has requested Kenyans to keep peace and embrace dialogue rather than staging protests that may lead to destabilization of the country’s economy.Mr Mwaura has assured Kenyans that president William Ruto had already listened to their cry and the bill that was causing all these problems have been put in shelve.

” Fellow Kenyans, president Ruto listens.The finance bill 2024 is now shelved.Lets not aid those who don’t wish our country well by staging protests to destabilize us.Kenya is the only country that we have.Tudumishe amani, umoja na uzalendo.Kenya ni yetu sisi wote”,Mwaura has written.

Mwaura’s message comes amid the unrest in the country as the demonstrations intensifies in various parts of the country including Nairobi, Migori, Nakuru, Kisumu and other parts of the country.This has come even after president Ruto decided to fully abandon the finance bill 2024.

Section of protesters who were interviewed today are saying that they are now demanding for some changes in president Ruto’s government which they includes firing of some corrupts leaders in the government, doing away with unconstitutional positions in the government such as the CAS among others.
