Jowie Irungu has released a new gospel song moments after Justice Grace Nzioka delivered a guilty verdict in the murder case of Monica Kimani.

The song dubbed Nakuabudu was uploaded on YouTube at 2 pm on Friday. It is a worship gospel song that speaks of God’s greatness.

Psalm 150:6 Let everything that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

In the song, Jowie says that he is returning to God while crying at his feet.

“Mikononi mwako Yesu, narejea. Miguuni mwako Yesu, nalilia,” Irungu sings.

Jowie was today convicted of murder in a five-year-long case that saw the delivery of the verdict postponed three times.

Justice Nzioka said the prosecution had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Irungu murdered Kimani.

Jowie, however, through his advocate Professor Nandwa said he would be appealing against the decision of the High Court.

In the same case, the second accused person, Jacque Maribe was acquitted of murder charges.
