The country has been in a mourning mode after a chopper that was carrying the Chief Defense Forces General Francis Ogolla crashed at Kaben area bursting into flames and killing eight of his accomplices who were also officers.

In his speech, he asked the kdf officers who are sent to a mission not to fear their enemies. Giving an example, he told the officers to avoid fearing the Alshabaab the way his father didn’t fear them. He told them to be patriotic to their country and God while in missions because we will all die and we should not die while in fear.
His words got the officers clapping for him while others reacted saying that indeed he is a son to a Chef of Defense Forces General. Others were also left questioning what he does for a living because of his fearless personality.
The late Francis Ogolla had been laid to rest today in a private burial ceremony in Siaya county.
