The prob into the death of Interior designer Jeff Mwathi attracted uproar online after it was revealed that police officers were trying to cover up on his death. This prompted the Interior CS Prof Kithure Kindiki to order a prob into the sudden death of the young and promising interior designer.
After several weeks of investigations and autopsy, the police finally concluded that the main suspect in the case, Mugithi singer Dj Fatxo was not involved and that he had no case to answer. The family has however maintained that their son did not commit murder and that he was killed before being thrown down.
The family of the late interior designer Jeff Mwathi expressed disappointment over the manner in which security agencies have been probing their kin’s death. Earlier on, Jeff’s mother Anne Mwathi while addressing the media from their home in Nakuru said that there was no hope on the investigations which was being conducted by the Directorate Criminal Investigations (DCI).
“I believe that my son was murdered at DJ Fatso’s house. He did not commit suicide,” said Ms Mwathi.
Several weeks after the DCI closed the file of Jeff’s death, his mother has come out claiming that there was some foreplay in the investigations and that it was compromised. The furious mother went live on TikTok where she shared herr frustrations saying that all along they knew that the investigations would lead to nowhere.
