Kenya has seen many citizens duped by pyramid schemes all in the name of wanting to invest where they hope to reap big and quick.
On Thursday, 39,000 Kenyans who have fallen victim and have been conned over Sh8 billion by different pyramid Schemes learned that they will not get any compensation from the government.
The victims wanted the court to order the government to pay them the Billions they lost for allowing the said pyramid scheme companies to operate in Kenya.
The story caught Jalang’o’s attention and decided to give his 2 cents on what we need to do to run successful businesses.
He highlighted on the need to have a passion in what you want to engage in and the time to do it.
“If you are opening up a business, be passionate, be there, run it and do not expect somebody else to run it for you.” Jalang’o said, using his best friend Alex as an example.
I have seen my friend Alex Mwakideu, open up car wash businesses. He is now opening up his third car wash that is because he loves cars, he loves the business and he loves cleaning cars.
