Jalang’o started acting way before he joined radio. He was featured in films such as Papa Shirandula.
On an interview with Kiss FM, when asked if Charles Bukeko, AKA Papa Shirandula was celebrated well, he said that he wasn’t celebrated as an icon should adding the reason that the pandemic interfered with their plans to celebrate the Legend due to lockdown and different protocols.
Given that the actor passed on a Friday and was buried on a Sunday, Jalang’o believed that if he died recently, even the president of the republic would have attended the funeral.
To commemorate Charles, he stated that they had conducted an anniversary both last year and this year and promised to really do something special to remember the late Bukeko. Talking on how things have been tough for Bukeko’s family, he added that the mum to Charles Bukeko also passed away but privately conducted her funeral.
