Actress Jackie Matubia is a joyful mother after her second daughter, Zendaya, embarked on her new journey as a student.
Matubia couldn’t contain her excitement and took to Instagram, where she shared a series of photos and videos from Zendaya’s first day at school.
“Zendaya was truly happy, no tears, and as usual, she didn’t care much and even looked back as we left her at school,” Matubia narrated.
After leaving her at school for the first time, Matubia expressed that she had mixed feelings, at times feeling as if a part of her heart had stayed behind.
“I felt like a part of my soul was left behind. I was overwhelmed with emotions. Raising a child alone until they reach this milestone of going to school is a unique victory. All I can say is that God made it possible and will continue to do so,” she added, seemingly taking a jab at her ex-partner, Blessing Lung’aho.
It’s worth noting that Matubia and Blessing Lung’aho fell in love after meeting on the popular TV show Zora on Citizen TV.
After the show ended, the couple got engaged and were blessed with their daughter Zendaya.
However, their relationship quietly ended a few months later, with Matubia hinting that he might never have been involved in their daughter’s upbringing.
As for Lung’aho, he has never addressed the issue and has focused on his own endeavors.
