Jackie Matubia, known for effortlessly balancing motherhood and her career, recently shared a touching moment in a clip where she opened up about the challenges behind her success.

In the emotional video, the award-winning actress talked about facing betrayals from friends and the struggles she encountered on her journey. Despite her achievements, Jackie broke down while discussing the effort put into her latest project.

The mother of two revealed that she had been working on her new YouTube series titled “Toxic” and shared the news with her followers upon returning to Kenya from a work trip to Malaysia with her best friend, Kate Actress.

Through tears of joy, Jackie announced the launch of her series on her Instagram account, emphasizing the importance of pursuing one’s dreams regardless of the obstacles faced.

“What I’ve been working for the past month or so is finally up. So guys, let me get ready and come along with me as I show you. Let me tell you something, people. It does not matter what situation you are in, it does not matter the battles you are fighting if you have a dream, work for it,” Jackie expressed passionately.

Reflecting on her journey to self-belief, Jackie spoke candidly about the betrayals she experienced from those she considered close.

“You will be surprised that the people close to you are the ones making you fight those battles. Imagine the people you call friends, family are the ones who don’t want you to succeed,” she shared.

Despite the challenges, Jackie expressed gratitude for overcoming obstacles and achieving success with her project, which she had poured her heart and soul into.

“I’ve invested everything I got for this project and I thank God I made it. I have fought so many battles. I’ve been called so many names, but I trusted God’s word,” Jackie affirmed, concluding with a message of resilience and determination to pursue one’s dreams despite adversities.
