Celebrated Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia has today announced to the whole world that she has her own series that she has been working on.

The award-winning actress infact announced the big news via a post on her Instagram account, where she even disclosed that it is called Toxic.

Jackie Matubia further revealed that it will be a web series that will be broadcasted on the Internet and not on the TV like we are used to seeing her on TV shows.

The mother of two also revealed that it will be a telenovela series, and that it will premiere on the 17th of April which will be on Wednesday.

“God is not done with me he is just starting!!! My Web series is up #TOXIC! April 17th on my YouTube channel.

This is a tele-Drama that ya’ll will love” Jackie Matubia wrote.

The award-winning actress further accompanied the post with a video showing how a billboard was already up to advertise the show ahead of the premiere.

In the video, Jackie Matubia was all smiles. Clearly she was proud of herself ahead of the premiere.

The disclosure however elicited massive congratulatory messages from netizens, who could not wait to see her show.

Jackie Matubia gets emotional as she announces something big was coming
The announcement by Jackie Matubia has however come hours after she took to her Instagram stories and told her fans that she had something big in store for them.

The mother of two, who recently jetted into the country from Malaysia where she had a gig, actually got very emotional as she narrated how she had put in the hard work in the past few weeks.

Jackie Matubia was pleased because all that hard work has not been in vain.

“Just got back home and what av been working on is finally up 🥹🥹🥹

I’ve seen the picture and av just felt so emotional sorry for my ugly cry 😭” she captioned one of the videos.

Even though at the time Jackie Matubia never revealed anything about the show, she narrated that it was not easy for her to do it.

This is because she faced a lot of challenges from even people who betrayed her along the way, despite being her close friends and family.

“Av invested everything I got for this project and I thank God I made it… I gave fought so many battles av been called so many names! But I trusted God’s work, “He will create a table infront of your enemies” One day I will tell my story!” She captioned another video of her crying.
