A day after Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza got saved from Impeachment by the senate, it seems Meru ward representatives are not yet done as per the latest reports.
As relayed by a report covered on Saturday’s Nation publication, a section os Meru ward representatives have informed Nation that their feud with Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza is not yet over.
This is despite Kawira Mwangaza’s vow to reconcile with over 50 MCAs who signed and voted in favour of the Impeachment motion.
It should be noted that Kawira Mwangaza yesterday stormed Meru town on foot and attracted a large crowd.
On the other side, it’s claimed that a petition has been presented to president William Ruto to dissolve the Meru county government.
In the petition, Henry Muriith, a meru residents claimed the county government has broken down and therefore there’s no functionality.

The embattled governor was cleared of all the seven charges that Meru ward representatives had raised against her, a move that sparked jubilation from Kenyans online and leaders affiliated to Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition.
