During The Morning Kiss show, Obinna found it hard to establish the cause of the initiative Lamu men are taking after a group of listeners said that in Lamu, it is romantic to buy groceries for your wife while the other group said that the men in Lamu probably donât trust their wives in market places.
Kenyan residents assume that itâs a womanâs role to undertake grocery shopping once the husband provides the money.
Mohammed Ali, an elder residing in Lamu said, âWomen are easily coaxed into making regrettable decisions once allowed to mingle with men.â
