Kenya Meteorological Department has shared a crucial message concerning weather forecast for the next five days from today. According to the report shared by Weatherman through the official social media platforms, the Highlands West of Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria basin and Rift Valley especially Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Kakamega, Bungoma, Siaya, Kisumu, Nakuru, Baringo, Bungoma and Narok. Morning rains are expected to receive rainfall over few places. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected over few places occasionally spreading to several other places. Members of the public urged to prepare adequately before that time comes.
Therefore, night showers are likely to occur over several places during the first half of the weather forecast period. Maximum temperatures will be as high as 30 degrees Celsius while minimum temperatures are expected to be low.
Further report indicates that the North Western parts of the country especially Turkana and Samburu counties. Days are likely to be sunny and nights partly cloudy conditions. However occasional morning showers as well afternoon and night showers are likely to be received over few places.
Finally, the Highlands East of Rift Valley including Nairobi, Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Tharaka Nithi and Meru counties are likely to be sunny and nights partly cloudy conditions over several places.
