Raila Odinga’s mass action demonistrations have affected many people who depends on the tourism sector in making a living.

According to the report, most of the tourist have cancelled their visits or changed destinations because of the threats of Azimio protests. Tourism stakeholders in Narok led by Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu who is the Chairman of the Tourism and Wildlife Committee at the Council of Governors has decried how the maasai community has been hit hard by the demonistrations.

Ntutu has now pleaded with Raila Odinga requesting him on if he loves the maasai community to then call off his demonistrations because tourism which is the economic activity of the community is now in jeopardy.

“Narok people depend on Tourism for livelihood and the demonistrations will affect them economically. If the former prime minister Raila Odinga loves the Maasai community, then he should call off the demonstrations because they are affecting the people, ” Governor Ntutu said.

This comes as most of business people in Nairobi have also made loses after closing down their shops following the ongoing demonistrations because of fear of destruction of their properties. Kenyans have now called Raila to call off the demonistrations if he loves peace.
