ODM Governor Simba Arati has pleaded for support from his Coalition over alleged impeachment plan.
Governor Arati said he was in danger after his intelligence have revealed that there was a ill-motive to kick him out of top couny seat.
He however, vowed to battle his rivals until the end.
” …Pray for me…. I have seen dark ominous clouds gathering. This war is going to be long,” the governor said.” Arati said.
The governor first revealed plot to impeach him after dozens of GSU officers stormed around his office.
He further alleged that the officers, who he said had been brought to the stadium from Kisumu were waiting for a court order to search both his office and his home.
However, addressing the press at the stadium, Arati claimed that he was under intimidation.
He said the presence of the officers is part of the wider plan to distabilise his administration.
Arati wondered how the GSU officers had come to search for his offices arguing that in case of any possible wrongdoing, it is the EACC or DCI officers who are supposed to search.
