In the last few weeks or so, many netizens have undoubtedly been wondering about the identity of the man that Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlisa Muigai got engaged to.
This is because it can be remembered in March this year, news went rife that the voluptuous businesswoman had said yes, after her man popped the big question.
This was at a lavish event that was attended by many people among them being her mother Senator Tabitha Karanja, Senator Tabitha Mutinda and also Hon. Esther Okenyuri among others.
What was however never revealed after the event, was the identity of Anerlisa Muigai’s fiancé.
Many infact assumed that she was engaged to Melvin Ibrahim, a businessman that she had dated for awhile.
However this is not true because the real identity of her fiancé has now been revealed.
Well Anerlisa Muigai’s fiancé is actually famed agriculture baron Josiah Kariuki Kimani.
He is the businessman who has recently been linked in the Kshs 209 million fake fertiliser scandal.
Mr Kimani is actually accused of packaging soil conditioner and selling it as organic fertiliser, which was distributed to farmers through SBL Innovative Manufacturers Limited and African Diatomite Industries Limited.
This was disclosed by blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, who shared screenshots from a secret WhatsApp group that Anerlisa Muigai belonged to, where she had asked her friends to help her in raising some finances for her fiancé, so as to make his bail of Kshs 3 million.
According to the screenshot, some of the friends of Josiah Kariuki had raised Kshs 1.8 million, and so Anerlisa Muigai was asking her friends to top up the Kshs 1.2 million that was remaining.
Cyprian Nyakundi’s post was actually true, because Anerlisa Muigai also reacted to it and she was furious at the person who leaked the details of the group to the blogger.
The voluptuous Nero Company Limited CEO even took to her Instagram stories on Tuesday night to clap back at the person, because she saw it as a big betrayal.
In the post, Anerlisa Muigai also boasted that she was able to mobilize the funds without the person who leaked the chats, and further disclosed that her fiancé Josiah Kariuki was now out.
“When you thought you had real friends then boom 💥, a blogger sends you a screenshot from a very enclosed group. Tomorrow could be you. Atleast I know I can’t count on everyone and that’s okay. And Yes we managed to get out without your help. We good #GodFirst”.
