The Kikuyu party’s representative in parliament, Kimani Ichung’wah, has responded to Raila Odinga’s assertions that he attended a meeting indoors at Gachagua’s Karen home to deliberate how to cause mayhem during Monday’s significant protests.
The paper states that Ichung’wah dismissed Raila’s assertions as idle chitchat and hallucinations, and he claimed that only his daughter knew where he went on Tuesday after leaving the House session.
I would only refer Tinga to my three-year-old daughter, he told the Star over the phone when asked where he went on that Tuesday night after leaving Bunge.
This comes after Raila Odinga accused Gachagua, Ichung’wah, and Nyoro of planning an evil and criminal crime during Monday’s mass action demonstrations. Raila denounced this accusation in the harshest terms he could muster.
The MP for Kiharu, Ndindi Nyoro, did not return calls or messages left for him by the Star newspaper, rendering attempts to get in touch with him futile.
Without providing any hard evidence, Raila accused the three of getting together on Tuesday at Gachagua’s residence to organize chaos for the massive protests Raila planned to have on Monday.
