A supporter of Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has raised serious allegations following the demolition of a business linked to the governor near Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi. The claims have added a new political dimension to an already controversial incident.

According to the supporter, the demolition was not a routine enforcement exercise. He alleges that Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen was personally present at the scene and oversaw the operation. The claim has intensified public interest and raised questions about the role of the national government in the incident.

The supporter further alleges that the demolition was carried out under heavy security. He claims that more than 2,000 police officers were deployed to secure the area during the operation. If true, the scale of the security presence suggests that the demolition was treated as a major operation rather than a standard administrative action.

The supporter also mentioned the presence of National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah at the site. The alleged involvement of such senior political figures has fueled speculation that the demolition may have had political motivations.

Following the incident, Governor Wamatangi visited the demolished site to assess the damage. The business premises, located close to Nyayo Stadium, were completely destroyed. His visit highlighted the seriousness of the loss and the personal impact the demolition has had on him and those who depended on the business.
